Champion Josh Quigley interview
For this Eye of the Storm, we had the absolute pleasure of chatting to cycling athlete, Josh Quigley!
Josh is currently smashing records left, right and centre! In total he has almost cycled around the world, just under 50,000 miles through 30 countries and 4 continents.
Last year he achieved the record for the fastest time ever to cycle the North Coast 500! Not to mention, he has just attempted to break the Guinness World Record for cycling the greatest distance ever in one week. Unbelievably, he attempted to cycle over 320 miles every day for charity! In total he raised over £10,000 for Arthritis Action.
We know that every single second counts for cyclists, whizzing through the air in record time! However, when the body gets wet through excessive moisture it will get cold. Instead of focusing on the cycling, extra energy is used up maintaining body temperature. That is why the Storm Care team developed a fast-wicking wash that draws moisture away from the body whilst on the bike; allowing you to put your best foot in gear and get on with the cycling adventures ahead.
It was a real treat to speak with Josh! We are inspired by all of his accomplishments! Here, he talks to the Storm Care team about mental strength, his immense passion for cycling and what he hopes to achieve next!
