STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE

  • STEP 1

    Remove loose dirt from apparel using a non-scratch sponge.

  • STEP 2

    Shake the bottle, spray evenly and liberally from a distance of 15cm, paying close attention to areas that are dirty, greasy or marked.

  • STEP 3

    Scrub your garment gently using a non-scratch sponge to effectively lift dirt from the garment surface.

  • STEP 4

    Once the garment has been scrubbed, rinse thoroughly to remove any excess spot cleaner still present on the garment surface.

  • STEP 5

    If required, give your apparel a machine wash & proof to restore your garment to it’s peak performance. Use Storm one wash cycle to clean & re-proof your gear after lifting subborn marks & oils.

FAQ'S

Do I need to wash my jacket after spraying?

The simple answer is no. If your garment has suffered extensive dirt/stains to one area such as cuffs or collars effectively spraying to clean your garment will offer an effective clean.

Does this spot cleaner effect the water repellency of my garment?

No. Despite the high performance properties of Storm Apparel Spot Cleaner, this chemical formulation is still gentle to technical fabric and will not impact the DWR properties of apparel & gear.

Why would I use a spray on cleaner over a machine wash solution?

Storm Apparel Spot Cleaner is specifically designed to target stubborn ingrained dirt & oils such as food stains and cosmetic oils that normally would remain in the fabric after machine washing. Partnering Storm Apparel Spot Cleaner to combat ingrained dirt with Storm Apparel Wash to remove dirt caused by sweat and general wear will deliver restored breathabilty performance and allow more effective re-proofing.
