Founded in Edinburgh back in 1962 by Graham and Maude Tiso, the brand was born from a love of wild places and a frustration with the lack of decent gear available at the time. Fast forward six decades and Tiso is now Scotland’s go-to for everything from walking boots to ski goggles, tents to technical layers. They’re still family-run, still passionate, and still staffed by people who’ve actually hiked the same trails your heading out to.
